In a new interview with Randy Legault of the Beer Rum & Rock N Roll podcast, Todd Kerns spoke about the status of the songwriting and recording sessions for the next SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS album.

Kerns stated that the band has completed their recording sessions and that the mixes are done.

He also mentioned that they have a title for the album, although it remains unconfirmed.

Kerns shared that the new material is still riff-based rock 'n' roll with a heavy dose of the blues element that Slash brings.

The album's sound is being kept consistent throughout by Kerns and Slash.

However, Kerns did mention that they have experimented with some new ideas in the studio.

The band has been on tour since January 2024 as part of their "The River Is Rising - Rest Of The World Tour '24" campaign.

They kicked off the tour on January 23, 2024, in Mexico City's Pepsi Centre WTC and have performed to sold-out crowds across the world.

Kerns also discussed the musical direction of the new SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS material.

He stated that it's still riff-based rock 'n' roll with a heavy dose of the blues element that Slash brings, and that they try not to veer too far from what their fans expect.

The band is expected to release new music in 2027.

Until then, fans can enjoy their current setlist on tour.
