Heavy metal legends Slayer have announced that they will embark on their final world tour in support of their upcoming album.
The tour, which kicks off in October and runs until next summer, will see the band visiting over two dozen cities around the globe.
Joining Slayer on select dates will be special guests Gojira and Napalm Death, with a full list of supporting acts to be announced soon.
This is not Slayer's first farewell tour - they have been hinting at retirement for years due in part to the health issues of drummer and primary songwriter Jeff Hannety's cancer battle however this latest run promises to be their most extensive effort yet.
The band will play all their classic hits, including 'Raining Blood,' 'Angel of Death,' and 'South of Heaven.' As Slayer takes their final bow around the world fans are invited to bid a fond farewell to one of metal's greatest bands.
