Slayer has officially announced a North American tour spanning from August 15 to September 10, 2024.
The tour will feature 28 dates across the United States and Canada, with stops in major cities including Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, and Denver.
The band confirmed the tour in a press release issued by their record label, Metal Blade Records.
This marks the first time Slayer has undertaken a tour in over two years, following their 2022 North American festival appearances.
The tour will be supported by fellow thrash metal act Kreator, with additional shows scheduled in select cities.
The lineup includes a full set of classic tracks from the band's catalog, as well as a few new songs from their upcoming album, which is set for release on October 12, 2024.
According to Metal Blade, the tour will feature high-energy performances with full stage production, including pyrotechnics and crowd engagement elements.
No dates have been released for the European leg of the tour, and no further supporting acts have been confirmed.
The band has not announced any special guests or surprise performances.
This tour announcement follows a recent social media post by the band's official account, which revealed a new song title, 'The Last Stand,' scheduled for release in the coming weeks.
The full tour itinerary will be available on the band's official website starting July 10.
All ticket sales will be handled through Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
The tour is expected to draw fans from across the metal community, with strong interest anticipated in the Midwest and Northeast regions of North America."
