Los Angeles-based noise outfit SQUID PISSER will release their new full-length EP, "Throat Slave", on August 28 via Skin Graft Records / Sweatband Records.

The album announcement comes with the unveiling of a new single and music video for "Mucus", which prominently features the contributions of guitarists Michael Armendariz and Raz Azraai.

The band's expanded lineup delivers their most immersive work to date, exploring themes of self-determination, identity, and surrender.

"Throat Slave" marks a significant evolution for SQUID PISSER, retaining the band's volatility and sonic intensity while revealing a broader emotional range.

Groove, atmosphere, and dynamic tension play a larger role than ever before, creating space for the band's most immersive work to date.

The EP features five original compositions that navigate paranoia, confrontation, self-examination, and release, accompanied by six demented remixes from queer-cult icon Plack Blague, minimalistic noise-pop duo Hyper Gal, Drumcorps, Fartbarf, Ecology: HomeStones, DJ Embryonic Petit Sac, and ZENI GEVA's KK Null.

Accompanied by the luminous and deeply unsettling artwork of Bora Murmure, "Throat Slave" occupies a space somewhere between nightmare and revelation.

With their current tour schedule including both the "Internal Violence Tour 2026" and the "Tumors Across America Tour", SQUID PISSER continues to showcase their volatile live show.

The band's lineup includes Baxter Yogurt on vocals, guitar, and bass; Michael Armendariz on guitar and backing vocals; Raz Azraai on guitar; Seth Carolina on drums; and Rusty Kennedy and Brady Kennedy providing additional support on bass and drums respectively.

A chaotic hardcore/noise outfit blending industrial textures, fractured rhythms, and confrontational performance into a singular, abrasive identity, SQUID PISSER has worked with acclaimed producers including Kurt Ballou and Steve Evetts.
