Portland-based Stainless has been making waves in the metal scene since their debut single and mini-album 'Nocturnal Racer' dropped in 2022.

The four-piece band, featuring female vocalist Larissa Cavacece and guitarist Jamie Byrum's double duty on guitar and drum recordings, shows a clear affinity for classic New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal.

Their latest album boasts eight tracks that showcase the band's ability to craft memorable songs with nods to iconic metal bands like AC/DC ('Restless And Ready'), Accept (Whorefrost), and Saxon ('Rough Justice').

The album opens with "Restless And Ready," which channels '80s Accept with its punchy swing and great guitar crunch.

The twin guitar leads in "Whorefrost" are reminiscent of Satan, while the opening Wah riff on "(Don't Cross Me) Fool" has a distinctly Hendrix vibe.

However, when they drop into a gallop in "Danger In The Night," Stainless delivers a good mix of tempo changes and melodic mid-sections with a power metal solo ride out.

One of the standout tracks is "Take A Listen Mama," a bluesy LA glam metal slower piece that showcases Cavacece's emotive vocals.

Overall, Stainless has crafted an album that delivers solid metal front to back, making them a great fit for touring with bands like Wings Of Steel, Ambush, Savage Master, Wanted, or Creatures.
