Candlepower Records and ElectraCast Media have announced a distribution agreement with Southern California progressive metal band STRYFE. The first single from STRYFE on Candlepower, "Breathe", is set to release on August 22. STRYFE, based in Los Angeles, combines progressive metal with heavy rock and powerful vocals, delivering music with intricate arrangements and emotional depth.

The band’s sound draws from progressive metal, Armenian classical, and folk traditions, shaped by members with decades of experience and diverse musical backgrounds. The announcement follows a performance at The Viper Room in West Hollywood, where label co-founder Diego Negrete described the show as compelling enough to imagine playing at The Forum. Candlepower Records, a division of ElectraCast Media, was founded by Diego Negrete and Bill Metoyer.

Negrete is a former member of MX MACHINE and has earned three Primetime Emmy Certificates. , FATES WARNING and DARK ANGEL. The label is committed to artist-driven music, with a focus on progressive and hard rock acts.

STRYFE continues to establish itself as a significant presence in the metal scene, appealing to fans of TOOL, FATES WARNING, DREAM THEATER, THE BUTTERSFLY EFFECT and KARNIVOOL.
