Legendary Holy Moses frontwoman Sabina Classen has unleashed the first new single from Temple Of The Absurd, titled "Prayer", which dropped on June 19.
The song is a requiem for lost loved ones, with Schrödey explaining its origins as a response to the death of an old friend.
A mix of reimagined classics and brand-new material will feature on their third new album, due out in fall 2026.
This marks Temple Of The Absurd's comeback after an unplanned moment at Full Metal Holidays 2025, where Wacken co-founder Holger Hübner announced Sabina's return to the spotlight.
In a joint book reading, the band was urged to re-emerge from their hiatus.
Even in the '90s, Temple Of The Absurd defied categorization with albums like "Absurd" and "Mother, Creator, God".

The track features vocals by Sabina Classen alongside Schrödey on guitar, Robert Frese on guitar, Falko Grau on bass, and Robert Julien Schmidt on drums.
Meanwhile, Bangalore Choir has released their new album "Rapid Fire Succession: On Target Part II" on BraveWords Records via Black Angel Promotions.
