Dutch metallers The Gathering have announced a 2026 tour in support of the 30th anniversary of their album Mandylion.

The tour will feature five shows originally scheduled in August 2024 at Doornroosje in Nijmegen, Netherlands, which were expanded from two to five dates.

The new 2026 leg includes performances in Greece, Chile, and additional European stops.

The band confirmed the anniversary tour following the departure of vocalist Silje Wergeland, who announced her exit on December 28 after 16 years with the group.

In a statement, the band expressed gratitude for her contributions and highlighted the legacy of albums from The West Pole to Beautiful Distortion.

The lineup of the band at the time of the 2024 anniversary shows included Hans Rutten, René Rutten, Hugo Prinsen Geerligs, Jelmer Wiersma, Frank Boeijen, and Anneke van Giersbergen.

The tour marks a significant milestone in the band's history, celebrating a landmark album with a dedicated set of live dates.

The full 2026 tour itinerary includes: September 24 at Moni Lazariston in Thessaloniki, Greece; September 26 at Amphitheater of Lycabettus in Athens, Greece; and October 17 at Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile.

The band has not confirmed any further dates beyond this list.

Silje Wergeland’s departure from the group is a major shift, with the band expressing deep appreciation for her role and legacy.

The 2026 tour will be the first major event following the change in vocal leadership.
