Progressive art rockers THE PINEAPPLE THIEF have announced the release of their new studio album, 'Far And Wide', set for October 9, 2026 via InsideOut Music.

The album marks a shift in the band's sound, emphasizing rock band fundamentals while retaining their signature atmosphere and thematic depth.

The release coincides with the launch of the single 'New World Order', featuring a music video directed by George Laycock at Black Tide Productions.

'Far And Wide' captures the band's evolution over the past decade, reflecting their live experience and expanded stage presence since Gavin Harrison joined in 2014.

The record features a streamlined guitar approach, with the band intentionally limiting to two guitar parts at a time to reflect their on-stage lineup.

This decision was driven by a desire to focus on rock band authenticity rather than complexity.

The album includes a limited 2CD and Blu-ray artbook with the bonus track 'Daylight', a second CD of instrumentals, and a Blu-ray with Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD -5.1 Surround Sound, and 24/48 stereo mixes.

A special edition CD digipak and gatefold LP in multiple colors are also available.

The album features a cover image by the late Michael Schoenholtz, father of Gavin Harrison's longtime partner Hannah.

Founded in 1999 by Bruce Soord, THE PINEAPPLE THIEF has released 16 studio albums and toured globally.

The band consists of Soord (vocals, guitars), Jon Sykes (bass), Steve Kitch (keyboards), and Gavin Harrison (drums)."
