Swedish rock band Thundermother has confirmed the title and release schedule for its upcoming album.
The new record, titled 'Mothers Of Thunder', will be released in February 2027.
The first single from the album, 'Bimbo Boost', will be made available in September 2026.
The album follows the band's 2025 release 'Dirty & Divine', which reached the Top 2 spot on the official German rock/metal chart.
The new lineup, consisting of guitarist Filippa NÀssil, bassist Majsan Lindberg, vocalist Linnéa Vikström Egg, and drummer Joan Massing, made its live debut on April 20, 2023, at Pub Anchor in Stockholm, Sweden, and played its first official show on April 22, 2023, at Ski & Rock in SÀlen, Sweden.
The band previously supported SCORPIONS across North America and Europe, and performed regularly at major festivals including Wacken Open Air.
In February 2023, Thundermother announced the departure of singer Guernica Mancini, drummer Emlee Johansson, and bassist Mona Lindgren, who formed a new band called THE GEMS.
The band confirmed that guitarist Filippa NĂ€ssil would continue leading a new Thundermother incarnation.
The live album 'Live'N'Alive' was released digitally in April 2026 via Napalm Records.
The new album was recorded during a European headline tour that followed the release of 'Dirty & Divine'."
