Founding members Rik Emmett and Gil Moore of Triumph have announced a 50th-anniversary Reloaded Tour, expanding the band's classic lineup into a massive 5-piece configuration.

The tour features Emmett on guitar and vocals, Moore on drums and vocals, guitarist Phil X, bassist Todd Kerns, and drummer/keyboards Brent Fitz.

The announcement marks a significant return for the rock power trio, which has not toured together in recent years.

The tour, set to begin in 2026, is described by Moore as a 'family reunion'—a deeply emotional experience that has resonated with fans.

"When the tour started, there were those fans that were like bring it on, can’t wait.

Any version of Triumph is great by me.

And then there were those who were the naysayers that were like, ‘Rik [Emmett] is not going to show up, Gil is not going to show up, they are going to mail it in or something, it’s going to be all on tape,’ all of which was baloney because we proved them all wrong.

One show at a time they got knocked down like bowling pins and you can see the social media, it was 99.9% positive with the exception of the one guy who was upset who could not get a parking spot.

It was a confidence booster for us." Moore also confirmed that the band will produce a new documentary titled 'Rock n Roll Machine Reloaded,' which will provide an insider's look at the band's journey during the tour, including the uncertainty before it began and his personal journey back into live performance.

"The first documentary (Rock and Roll Machine) doesn’t answer what now? The guys (band) ride off into the sunset and who knows? I have been saying for 25 years I’m not going back on the road with Triumph, that will never happen and I was 100% serious when I said that and Rik said more or less the same thing too.

I think (the new documentary) will be like having an insiders seat and seeing what was going on (before and during the Reloaded tour) seeing the uncertainty and also my journey back into performing, whereas Rik and the rest of the band have been performing.

The Metalworks team was filming the journey.

I don’t think anybody could have forecasted how well it went." While the tour is confirmed, Moore noted that any future performances will depend on consensus among the band members.

"Well we figured out that we are capable of it.

Yeah, I suppose it depends on a lot of things, what we might do in the future.

Definitely going to do another film (documentary) and that is almost in the can.

I think we will probably play some more shows but until they are locked in and everyone is in agreement I don’t want to start shooting my mouth off." The tour features a full lineup and live performances with no backup tapes—everything is played live, a decision that has solidified the show’s authenticity and emotional impact.

Moore added, "From the stage you could see people crying, you could see people cheering and crying.

This tour was very much like a family reunion.

I think it shocked a lot of people that the band was playing at the level that we were now capable at playing and that we had no backup tapes and everything was live, nothing was mailed in, everything was real.

I have known Rik Emmett my whole life, I have never seen him so happy as on this tour.

It was written all over his face you could see it a mile away." Additional details about the tour and documentary will be released as the tour progresses.
