Trivium and Swedish melodeath pioneers In Flames have announced a major European tour spanning spring 2027, including stops in the UK and Ireland. The tour will feature support from extreme metal acts Paleface Swiss and Vola on every date, marking one of the heaviest packages in continental Europe next year. The two bands will alternate top billing depending on the region: in the UK and Ireland, Trivium will headline with In Flames as special guests. Once the tour reaches Scandinavia, In Flames will take the top spot with Trivium as special guests. Across all other mainland European markets, the bands will co-headline as true co-headliners.

The tour kicks off on March 29 in Dublin, Ireland at the 3Arena, followed by dates in Glasgow, Manchester, London, Cardiff, Brussels, Paris, Hamburg, Dresden, Berlin, Luxembourg, Bern, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Amsterdam, Prague, Vienna, Stuttgart, Munich, Bamberg, Copenhagen, and Oslo. The run concludes on May 3 in ampere, Finland, with a stop in Riga, Latvia, and Katowice, Poland.

Fronted by vocalist and guitarist Matthew K. Heafy, Trivium has been a consistent force in metal since 2000, with breakthrough success from albums like Ascendancy and a string of gold and silver certifications. The band’s 2025 EP Struck Dead signals a new musical direction, with drummer Alex Rüdinger now behind the kit. In Flames, formed in 1990, are credited as foundational figures in melodic death metal and the Gothenburg sound, with over 14 studio albums and a global fanbase.

Paleface Swiss, known for their brutal fusion of deathcore and nu-metal, and Vola, a progressive metal act blending djent and electronica, are both rising stars in the metal scene. Their inclusion underscores the tour’s emphasis on a dynamic and diverse lineup.
