Grammy-nominated metal band Trivium has announced their new album, Crown In The Grave, set for release on November 20 through Roadrunner Records. The album marks the band’s eleventh studio record and was crafted in their Orlando-based creative hub, The Hangar. It features a dark, post-apocalyptic aesthetic inspired by Akira Kurosawa’s Throne of Blood and Japanese horror cinema of the 1950s to 1970s, shaping the record’s sonic and thematic identity.
The title track, which builds from layered riffs to an explosive wall of metal, is presented with Trivium’s signature technical precision and melodic intensity. The album includes tracks such as Jorōgumo, Crown In The Grave, Dead Inside Of Me, The Terror, The Haunting Never Ends, Lie Of It All, Blackout The Dawn, Paradise Of Sinners, Death Throes, The Agony, Devour Your Dreams, and Serpent In The Flame.
Trivium will embark on a full-scale European tour in spring 2027, co-headlining with melodeath pioneers In Flames. In the UK and Ireland, Trivium will headline with In Flames as special guests. In Scandinavia, the roles reverse with In Flames taking the top billing. Across the rest of mainland Europe, both bands will share the stage as co-headliners, with Paleface Swiss and VOLA providing support on every date. The tour spans from March 29 in Dublin to May 29 in Oslo.
The band will also launch a North American headline tour beginning November 5 in St. Petersburg, Florida, concluding on December 19 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The tour includes stops in major cities across the U.S. and Canada, with support from In Flames, Orbit Culture, Fit For An Autopsy, and Frozen Soul.
