Heavy metal band Trivium will headline this year's Aftershock Festival, taking place in Sacramento, California on October 1-2.

Joining them as a co-headliner is Lamb of God.

Other notable acts include In Flames, Gojira, and Orphanage.

Trivium has been busy touring and releasing new music in recent years, with their latest album 'Strife of the Absurd' dropping in March to critical acclaim.

The band's setlist will likely feature a mix of old favorites and new tracks from this release.

Festival organizers have announced an impressive lineup for Aftershock, with many other notable metal bands taking part.

The festival will take place at the Stranglers Pavilion, located inside the 16-acre property that also houses the Del Paso Boulevard strip.
