Twisted Sister has confirmed Sebastian Bach as the new frontman for a series of select fall performances, following the departure of original lead singer Dee Snider due to health concerns. Snider cited deteriorating physical conditions, including degenerative arthritis and cardiac issues, as reasons for stepping down from the band. The announcement came after the cancellation of all 50th Anniversary tour dates beginning April 25 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Bach, known for his prominent role in the metal scene, has been officially invited to join the band. Jay Jay French, a member of Twisted Sister, stated that Bach is the only individual with the stage presence and metal pedigree to fulfill the role. The band conducted eight hours of rehearsal with Bach, who expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity. The performances do not conflict with Bach’s current or future solo touring schedule.

The tour will feature the following dates: September 27 in Puyallup, WA at the Washington State Fair; October 8 in Niagara Falls, ON at the OLG Stage; October 10 in Windsor, ON at The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor; October 18 in Gary, IN at the Hard Rock Casino; November 14 in Charles Town, WV at The Event Center at Hollywood Casino; and December 11 in St. Petersburg, FL at Ferg’s Pavilion.

Twisted Sister emphasized that the decision to replace Snider was not driven by naysayers but by the band’s commitment to authenticity and the public’s perception of the band’s legacy. The performances will begin with the iconic song 'What You Don’t Know (Sure Can Hurt You)' and will include a full setlist of classic Twisted Sister tracks.
