Baltimore-based death metallers Visceral Disgorge have been officially confirmed as a performer at 70000 Tons Of Metal 2027. The festival, known as The Original, The World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise, will sail from Miami, FL to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and back from January 14 to 18, 2027, aboard Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas. The cruise offers round-the-clock heavy metal entertainment, including performances on the biggest open-air stage structure ever sailed, artist-hosted events, and meet-and-greets with metal icons.

Visceral Disgorge will perform two sets during the cruise, with one set featuring an exclusive world premiere of songs from their upcoming album. The announcement underscores the festival’s commitment to showcasing extreme metal acts in an immersive, global setting. This addition brings the total number of confirmed bands to 30 out of the 60 scheduled for the 2027 voyage.

In addition to Visceral Disgorge, the lineup includes established acts such as Arch Enemy, Exodus, and Warbringer, as well as debut acts like Talia Hoit and Ye Banished Privateers. Finnish band Wolfheart will also present a world premiere of their upcoming album during the cruise, with footage to be included in an upcoming music video.

Only 3,000 tickets are available for the 2027 sailing, continuing the festival’s tradition of fostering a close-knit global metal community known as the 'United Nations of Heavy Metal at Sea.'
