Finnish-Mexican melodeath band Ulthima has confirmed the release of their second full-length album, Midnight's Call, set for fall 2026. The album follows their 2021 debut, Symphony Of The Night, which was recorded after the band reformed in Helsinki in 2018 following a hiatus that began in 2010. The band has now released the single "Echoes Of Silence" as a preview of the upcoming record.

The track was composed shortly after the debut album and remains stylistically consistent with its predecessor, focusing on themes of rejecting power narratives and confronting life's uncomfortable truths. The new album will be released via Inverse Records. Ulthima consists of Ricardo Escobar on guitar, Luca Guagneli on guitar, Antonio Valdés on bass, Niko Sutinen on keyboards, Ville Nummisalo on drums, and Tuomas Antila on vocals.

The band originated in Monterrey, Mexico, before relocating and consolidating in Helsinki, Finland. The recording of Midnight's Call began in mid-2024. The full album will be available in the fall of 2026.
